LAHORE: Strong earthquake on Sunday jolted Lahore, Sahiwal, Narowal, Sheikhupura and adjacent parts, shaking buildings and sending wave of terror in the people forcing them to leave homes.
A private TV channel reported that the magnitude was recorded at 5.2 with the centre point identified in Afghanistan. No immediate casualties or damage has been reported until the filing of this report.
Tremors were also felt in Pattoki, Kot Radha Kishan, Mananwala, Muridkay, Okara and adjacent areas. There were also reports of earthquake tremors being felt in some parts of India.
